The Golden Triangle

No, not the one that Simon Sinek was talking about.

Mom & Dad, what’s the Golden Triangle?

Well, if you’re unsure how to start a collaboration with Printhouse Films, consider the 3 players in film production:

Client | Agency | Production Company

The end client often already works with an agency or internal marketing division and the agency brings Printhouse Films on board as a production partner to execute the creative director’s vision.

During the course of pre-production, Printhouse Films joins the workflow to help turn ideas into a technical storyboard, evaluate the technical feasibility, and to connect the agency’s creative director with Printhouse Films’ film director for further consultation. After all, what works well on film from a technical and dramaturgical standpoint and what works well only on paper often isn’t as obvious as one might believe.

As an agency or marketing department, you don’t need to know the specifics of what a dutch angle, high angle, or MCU is, or whether you need a DIT, an extra data wrangler, or how and when the scripty comes into play. – That’s what we’re here for.

We always give you input and creative inspiration, leveraged by our years of production experience, on what works best for the production you’re going after and what production resources should be factored in to do justice to vision you’d like to see come to life.

Our tip: Keep the order penetration point in mind…

The earlier we join “the triangle”, the more streamlined and efficient production can be. Saving headaches, and budget. Because we’re problem solvers, the earlier we get on board, the earlier we can start moving into the right direction.

Pssst. Wanna hear one last secret? 🤫

Dear agencies: We are not after your clients. We want to produce for you! Picture a printing company. That printing company also produces the prints for the creative agencies, right? The campaign still belongs to the agency, but hardly anyone would expect an agency to have a completely staffed printing press in their back office.

That’s just the way we work with agencies. Except in this case, we produce the video & film files for them instead of a brochure.
